SYNERMIX® UV AL40 is a titanium dioxide and 1/l0th of the particle size of white (pigmentary) Ti02.
This small particle size makes it smaller than the wavelength of visible light. Because of this, the particles absorb, scatter and reflect UV light, providing UV protection. This product can be used for transparent wood finishes and clear coatings from which organic UV absorbers tend to migrate and sublime.
