Plasticolors® EFC colorants are formulated with organic and inorganic pigments and contain both common and standard masstones.
All of the EFC colorants contain a monomer-free unsaturated polyester grinding resin listed in the following FDA regulations: 21 CFR 177.1680 (Polyurethane Resins) and 177.2420 (Polyester Resins, Cross-Linked). Many of the EFC colorants contain only pigments that are listed under FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3297 (Colorants for Polymers). These products may also contain additives that are listed under other FDA subsections. If your final molded part requires FDA or NFS certification, contact us with your specific regulatory requirements.
